Description

Beautifully restored “Alky” lounge chair produced by Artifort and designed by Giancarlo Piretti (also known for the Plia and Plona chairs).

The Alky chair was conceptualized in 1968 and has seen lately renewed interest due to its easy integration in most interiors: With its comfortable sit, soft curved lines and small footprint this is to us not a surprise!

Our version is re-upholstered in a wonderful soft new bouclé fabric by Kvadrat: Baru, color tone 740.

Please note that we have also another Alky in this fabric, however it’s about an inch taller than this Alky produced by Artifort. For reference we have added an images of the two chairs together.

Origination: The Netherlands, produced by Artifort

Materials: Aluminium frame, bouclé fabric

Condition: Excellent, newly reupholstered
