Description
A set of five stacking chairs by Armin Wirth, designed for Hans Zollinger Sohre (Zürich) during the 1950s.
Bent aluminum frame with varnished wooden panels. The seat of the rest can optionally be attached to the spring mechanism, so that when getting up the seat panel will rise to a vertical position, very much like a cinema seat. These chairs are remarkably comfortable due to the flexible backrest.
Materials: Aluminium, plywood
Origination: Switzerland, 1960s
Condition: Very good vintage condition. Chairs have been cleaned. Some small signs of age, completely functional.
