Description
Set of nesting tables by Charles Hollis Jones, a US furniture designer who uses acryl, lucite and brass in his works to create translucent furniture with polished bronze and chrome highlights. His designs have seen a steady following over the years, and are featured in several museums.
Our set of three nesting tables feature a glass top with brass endings and lucite tubular rods. It is in generally good condition. These tables have been purchased in the 1980s in Miami, and brought back to Switzerland by the original owner.
Origination: USA, 1980s
Condition: Good overall, the brass connectors have aged, and show patina/discoloration due to age. We decided to leave this untouched. The lucite tubes are ok, no damages. One of the glass tops has a small nick in the corner, but this is not visible, only when taking the table fully apart for transport as it is covered by the top frame normally.
