Description

Authentic Vintage Oceanic table lamp by Italian architect Michele de Lucchi for the Memphis movement in the early 1980s. De Lucchi was one of the co-founders of the postmodern design group Memphis, headed by Ettore Sottsass.

Using painted metal, bold colors and patterns this lamp’s design was inspired by an ocean steamer. It retains the original electric cord.

Please note that this is an original, vintage 1980s edition of the Oceanic Lamp, in very good condition.

 

Condition: Very good, some signs of age as pictured. Works with one E27 Bulb.

Origination: Italy, 1980s, labeled by producer.
