Armchair designed during the 1920s by Irish-born architect Eileen Gray for use in her French villa E1027. The E1027 was Gray’s first large project, where her work as an interior designer and architect came together.
Our version originates from the late 1980s, produced by Ecart International (France). It has been originally purchased mostly as a decorative object, therefore just very small signs of use are visible.
Materials: Black lacquered wood frame, black leather, metal connectors.
Condition: Excellent, very small signs of use on the leather. Metal has slightly aged, but when necessary this can be polished. The lacquer shows small “brushes” here and there, but no deep scratches. A little ding on top of the headrest as pictured was found.
