Description
A set of two Utrecht armchairs by one of the founders of the 1920s “De Stijl” movement, Gerrit Rietveld.
This sculptural armchair was originally designed in 1935 for the Metz & Co department store in Amsterdam, but with the purchase by Cassina of the production rights they have been re-introduced to the market since the late 1980s.
Our pair of Utrecht chairs (named after the birth place of Rietveld) have their original black leather upholstery, and are in excellent condition.
