Description

Plia foldable chairs produced by Castelli and designed by Giancarlo Piretti (also known for the Alky or Plona lounge chairs).

These iconic folding chairs are still in very good condition, and very practical in their use: They can be easily stored away since they fold completely flat.

On permanent exposition at the MoMA New York.

 

 

Materials: Metal, lucite

Origination: Italy, 1970s. Castelli label underside frame.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. Some signs of corrosion and age on the metal frame and seat as per pictures. Note that the original clear floor glides are still installed (recent ones are only available in black).
