Description
The CH07 Shell Chair by Hans J. Wegner was originally designed in the early 1960s, but only with a very limited amount of chairs produced. The chair was relaunched in 1997 by Carl Hansen & Son, Denmark, after growing interest in Danish mid-century modern furniture:
The CH07 chair’s distinctive and organic form draws inspiration from the shape of a seashell, reflecting Wegner’s penchant for integrating nature’s elements into his designs. The chair’s graceful curves and sweeping lines create an eye-catching and sculptural appearance, making it an playful addition to any space.
Our version features a black painted beech frame with cow hide upholstery; this colour is no longer produced by Carl Hansen.

Condition: Very good, no significant signs of use on the wooden frame, some loss on the cow skin but not very noticeable. Chair has been cleaned and is ready for daily use.
