Description
Bookshelf designed by Philippe Starck in 1977, produced by Disform.
The “John Ild” shelving unit consists of 5 black lacquered wooden shelves, along black metal tube uprights. The whole structure rests against the wall on its own weight, without the need of attaching it.
Can be easily disassembled and it’s modular design allows for further extensions:
Note that we have one extension available, it has some minor missing parts, and a small defect that does not impact functionality. We will offer this extension for an additional CHF 300 to any interested buyer.
Condition: Good vintage condition, overall small signs of age. Note that the wooden shelves have warped a little due to the shape of the metal tubes.
Origination: France, 1980s
