Beautiful original oval-shaped T22 coffee table designed by Pierre Chapo: The table consist of three individual parts, with can be separated as per images.
As with all furniture by Chapo, this piece shows excellent craftsmanship, is constructed in solid wood and was made to last.
French elmwood is due to the Dutch elm disease extremely rare to find these days, and recent editions are generally made of oak or imported elmwood which have a completely different appearance compared to the warm, vintage look that an aged Chapo piece provides.
Condition: Overall very good vintage condition, ready for daily use. Tables have been cleaned and oiled with cooked linseed oil as per Chapo’s original instructions.
