Description

A set of four small Tulip chairs by Pierre Paulin produced by Artifort, with off white bouclé upholstery.

Pierre Paulin was a Paris-born French designer, who created his best known pieces in cooperation with Artifort. Famous pieces are the “Tongue Chair” or the “Ribbon Chair”, featured in several museums such as the MOMA in New York, and Centre Pompidou in Paris.

This particular chair is very comfortable, the tulip-shaped seat forms itself around the user and allows for 360 degrees swivelling.

Origination: Netherlands, 1980s

Condition: Very good, re-upholstered in an off white bouclé fabric.
