The Seconda Chair (1982) is an iconic piece of design, with use of materials that are typical for Botta’s furniture and lamps: Sheet metal, metal tubing, plastic and rubber. The lines of this chair are sharp, rational and symmetrical, and seen as his answer to the Memphis Movement of the 1980s.
