Description
The PH Artichoke was originally designed in 1958 by Poul Henningsen for a restaurant in Copenhagen and has since then developed into one of the most recognized lights from the 20th Century. It is a true Design Classic.
The lamp consists of 72 individual handmade and polished copper leaves, built up around a steel chromed frame. The natural color of the copper ensures a warm glow once the light is turned on. The careful positioning of the leaves mean that no direct light is seen when looking into the lamp.
Our version is a late 1980s edition, in great condition, with some typical patina development on the copper.
Condition: Very good vintage condition, this lamp is complete, undamaged and provided with an E40 bulb.
