Description
The Willow chair was originally designed in 1904 by architect Charles R. Macintosh for the Willow Tea rooms in Glasgow as part of an re-design project. Production rights were acquired by Cassina during the early 1970s.
The chair consists of curved back, constructed in ash wood and aniline dyed in black. The original seat cushion in an off-white woolen fabric has been professionally cleaned.
Marked with the Cassina stamp and numbered as per picture.
Condition: Very good, small signs of use due to age, but no repairs or damage. Pillow has been professionally cleaned.
