The Woodline Lounge Chair by Marco Zanuso was designed during the 1950s and produced by Arflex during the 1950s / 1960s.

Marco Zanuso was one of the most influential Italian modernist designers of his time: Other than the well known Woodline Lounge Chair, with its distinctive curved lines and wooden frame, he also designed the Triennale and the Museum chair, both of which are iconic designs that are still in production.

Zanuso was also a strong advocate of sustainable design and materials in architecture, and was a key contributor to the development of the modern Italian design movement.
